Role Overview
The University of Fribourg is seeking a Knowledge Security & Nagoya Compliance Officer to ensure institutional compliance with Swiss and international export control regulations, knowledge security practices, and the Nagoya Protocol. The position provides legal and regulatory guidance to researchers, administrative units, and institutional stakeholders. What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and monitor the University's export control and knowledge security policy, advise researchers and staff on Swiss, EU, and US export control regulations, support classification of controlled goods and technologies, and establish and manage compliance procedures under the Nagoya Protocol.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Swiss Master's degree in Law or equivalent, specialization in export control law and international regulatory frameworks, experience with compliance systems and regulatory reporting, and very good communication and training skills.
