Application Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Application Security Engineer to join our team to lead our application development security program.

What You Will Do

Monitor and manage vulnerability reports from various security tools and platforms, analyze and triage vulnerabilities, collaborate with development teams, and contribute to security training and compliance efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in application security or a related role
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and techniques
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of web application security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
